Araya’s Team Leader Kai spoke at “AE: Global Summit on Open Problems for AI; Day 1 – Algorithms Day; Panel: Is Scale Enough?” on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025.
The “AE: Global Summit on Open Problems for AI” was held over three days from Wednesday, April 9 to Friday, April 11, 2025, at Sakura Deeptech Shibuya in Shibuya, Tokyo. The summit brought together leading global experts to engage in discussions on the development of AI algorithms, ethics, and social implementation.
Dr. Kai Arulkumaran, Team Leader of the Reinforcement Learning Team in the Research and Development Department at Araya Inc., took the stage on Day 1 – Algorithms Day (April 9) as a keynote speaker. He gave a presentation titled “Neuro-inspired AI: Reinforcement Learning and Consciousness” and participated in the panel discussion “Is Scale Enough?“.
At the kickoff of the event, Araya was featured alongside Sakana AI, RIKEN, and Rakuten in the context of Japan’s historical contributions to AI as well as its current landscape of entrepreneurship.
